About HeartScripture

The name HeartScripture comes from this well-known Bible verse:

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11)

As the name suggests, our goal is to help believers hide God's Word in their hearts through meditation and memorization.

Founded by a husband-and-wife team, this platform was born from our personal journey of being transformed by God's Word. With a background in technology and a heart for God's kingdom, we longed for a better way to engage with Scripture in everyday life — and HeartScripture is our step of faith in that direction.

We started by making it easy to discover Bible verses by topic, so you can quickly find Scripture that speaks to your current season, struggles, and needs.

Though we're beginning with verse discovery, we're working toward much more. In the coming months, we'll add features to help you meditate on and memorize Scripture, so the Word can take root deeply in our hearts.

Psalm 1 compares the one who meditates on the Word of God day and night to a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.
